With last week’s Celebration of Literature still fresh in our collective memory, the Somerset College Wordsmiths ‘Covered the KIP’ in prose in celebration of World Poetry Day on Tuesday 21 March.
The words of Plath, Wordsworth, Coleridge, Frost, Owen and more will adorn our windows and footpaths until the end of term.
All students are welcome to come and add their own words until then, we still have plenty of blank space.
As the poet Maya Angelou said, “There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.” So if you have a poem in your heart you want to share, come to the KIP, grab some chalk or a window texta and let loose with your creative energy!
