Yugambeh Jarla – Australian Native Gala Dinner

Image - Yugambeh Mobo - Gala Dinner

This corporate-focused celebration event is organised by the Yugambeh Museum Language and Heritage Research Centre as part of the Yugambeh Mobo campaign to unite the community through cultural pride from the past to our tomorrow. It is the vision of this campaign that the Yugambeh Language is re-introduced into everyday environments, so it does not disappear forever.

This dinner, premiering the Yugam-Bunyip Story, to be held Friday 27 May, is a unique opportunity to discover and explore the rich Indigenous history and culture of the Gold Coast region. Indulge in the modern fusion flavours of our Australian native ingredients as we showcase our local Indigenous talent.

To further connect guests with the Yugambeh Mobo campaign, each table will host a Yugambeh Language Advocate. This Advocate will share will share their passion and journey with guests as we collaboratively build a sense of pride in our home, our history and our future.
