Soccer
Jayden was selected in the U12
Gold Coast Knights Soccer SAP representative team for 2020.
Well done to Jayden on a great achievement; being selected out of 90 talented young soccer players over three-days of trials.
He is the first Somerset student to make the Gold Coast Knights representative team and has also been picked in the Somerset XI Soccer squad for 2020.
Hockey
Congratulations to Kai Forte who assisted the Gold Coast team at the Indoor Hockey State Championships and brought home the Gold medal.
Aquathlon
On Monday 4 November at Evandale Park and Lake, four of our Junior School students participated in the Regional Aquathlon trials. The students had to complete a 1km run, a 200m swim then followed by another 1km run to finish the race.
Zac Moir finished second in his race which is an outstanding achievement. Malorie Gell (Year 6) also competed coming in 10th place.
Two of our Year 4 students participated in the event for the first time, Molly Rogers and Martin Hembling who finished 22nd and 36th respectively.
Congratulations to these four students for representing the College to an amazing level at the Regional Aquathlon trials.
