Somerset Storyfest has welcomed four new staff members onto their team for 2025. Following the expansion of writers’ festivals into Emerald and St George last year, alongside their already existing festivals in Longreach and Gold Coast, it was no surprise that some extra hands were needed!
Narelle Higgs joins the Storyfest team as the new Business Development Manager, bringing with her a strong background in marketing and communications. Teraze Burke has taken on the new role of Gold Coast Producer, managing the execution of the local festival held on Somerset grounds. And last but not least, recent graduates Charo Palenzuela and Lili Bannerman will be supporting the team as Events Assistants.
This year’s Gold Coast Festival programme will be launching on Thursday 6 February, with the festival itself taking place from Tuesday 1 to Thursday 3 April.
