On a sunny afternoon in Week 4 Somerset College’s Year 4 Band took to the stage in The Craig Bassingthwaighte Centre Concourse, blowing the audience away.
From flutes to trumpets, percussion and clairnets, our young musicians showed their impressive progress after under a year of lessons.
Classes 4D and 4G kicked things off with impressive enthusiasm, with both classes joining for the opening before breaking away to flute, trumpet, clarinet and perscussion solos and duets.
Then came 4P and 4M who delivered an equally joyful display of musicianship.
Well done, Year 4, and congratulations to our dedicated peripatetic instrumentalists for preparing the group so brilliantly for their performance.
