The Headmaster is responsible for the vision and strategic direction of Somerset College. Our College Leadership Team work together to achieve common strategic goals and provide leadership in their areas of responsibility within the College. The College Board has responsibility for the governance of Somerset College in finances, buildings and grounds, and policy.

Our Future, Somerset College’s Strategic Plan 2018 to 2022, has four goals: Dynamic Learning, Inspired Teaching, Community Wellbeing and Organisation Sustainability. Our Future will be built on 21st century skills; critique, collaborate, create and communicate.

Our facilities are designed to inspire participation, excellence in the teaching and learning experience both within and beyond the classroom. Our campus has evolved over the past years to include state of the art facilities for Sport, Performing Arts, Design and the Junior School, as well as innovative classroom spaces in the Senior School.

Sustainability is about meeting our own needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own need. Students at Somerset College are encouraged to follow their passions and interests in how to make our planet healthier and more sustainable for future generations.

Somerset Retail provides our community with a range of eatery locations on campus, as well as our uniform and stationery shop located in the Ray building and is open daily on weekdays from 7.30am to 4.30pm. Somerset Retail is available for the purchase of all student uniform items, with the exception of shoes.
