The 2018 Netball Awards Dinner was held 22 August with 200 students and parents enjoying a great night of entertaining speeches from our own Somerset netballers and special Guest Speaker, Firebirds Goal Shooter, Romelda Aiken. Representatives from each team spoke about their season and thanked their coaches for a fun filled and sometimes challenging year of APS Netball.
APS Awards were presented to the MVP and Team player of each team.
Before the major awards got underway, guests enjoyed the very relaxed, down to earth personality of Romelda Aiken as she spoke of her life as a Jamaican netballer, migrating to Queensland and her life after netball, in a very candid interview with Madizen Wilkins.
