Approximately 100 students, bravely arrived at 5.00pm ready to inform and entertain their audiences on Tuesday night. Students in Years 4, 5 and 6 spoke of Imagining, Animals that could Talk, Hidden Treasures, Masks, Laughter, Standing in Someone Else’s Shoes, Australia’s Greatest National Treasure, Unsolved Mysteries, Choices we Make and many more thought-provoking and interesting topics.
The rooms were full on encouraging parents and teachers and the entertainment was wonderful. Many great speeches were heard and the adjudicators, made up of teachers and senior students had a difficult time selecting those students to continue on to the A B Paterson Competition. These students will be emailed.
Congratulations to all. Public Speaking is such an important skill!
