The Junior School additional language students showcased their speaking skills as they competed at the Modern Language Teachers’ Association Gold Coast Speech Contest, Sunday 18 August. The contest was held at Griffith University where there were more than 1000 competitors in the languages of French, German, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Yugumbeh, Russian and Japanese.
The Italian students wrote their speeches during class time, and were selected to represent the College on the basis of their performance in class. They were all very courageous to deliver a speech in a foreign language and did so with confidence and grace.

Students performed very well and represented the College with pride.
