Year 2 has continued with our Inquiry into Living Things Grow and Change. Using the same conceptual lens of change, we moved from caterpillar and butterfly life-cycles to chickens.
It was with great excitement that we opened the classroom door on Monday to find three new chicks and an incubator with 11 more eggs. What a wonderful experience to witness these eggs hatching.
We all needed to live the Learner Profile and be extra caring inquirers.
We will be sad to say good bye to our new friends on Thursday as they make their way to a farm to roam free.
