The Somerset Girl's Open Hockey team had a great opportunity to participate in a game against the Woodford Girls New Zealand team.
This competition allowed our team to develop and adapt to a new style of gameplay our competition brought to the pitch. The game proved to be tough, with a final score of nil to 4, however, our team’s perseverance never wavered.
At the end of the game, we exchanged gifts as a token, acquiring some very delicious New Zealand chocolate as well as new friendships. All in all, the opportunity was a fantastic experience not only for the development of skills but for us to strengthen our bonds as a team.
