The KIP looked more like the showbag hall at the Ekka than a library this week as we held our annual Scholastic Book Fair, which turned out to be the biggest one yet.
There were frenzied scenes as our students indulged their love of books, diaries, arts and crafts and of course, cool stationery. At the time of writing, our Book Fair sales are at a record high.
Thank you so much to all the wonderfully supportive Somerset College parents that allowed their children to purchase at the Book Fair. It is through your generosity that we will not only be able to donate $2,500 to the Room to Read organisation, but also able to purchase many new Scholastic books to continue to grow our Junior collection in the KIP.
