Our second meeting for the Science Club was an absolute blast for all members involved. We created a Buzz Wire using our knowledge and skills from Year 8 and 9 Design and the Year 9 Science, Electricity unit.
What brings me 'Joy' in Week 6? Science Club activity!
Using a cardboard box, electrical wires, a soldering iron, a buzzer and a metal hanger we created a fun way to past time (and make a lot of noise). Soldering wires together and building a circuit was a new experience to many members but it was one that all of us 'Lab Rats' thoroughly enjoyed. Only one group was successful in fully completing their Buzz Wire course and many others came close.
The Lab Rats second meeting of the year was full of fun and laughter and was one that I know everyone loved. I encourage everyone to join us at our next meeting for an experience that will bring you joy.
