Information about a Rugby carnival has recently been emailed to parents of selected students. The College plans to keep the tradition alive by sending a squad to this tournament in 2019 from Friday 12 April to Sunday 14 April.
Spots are limited for this tournament next year. This is the middle weekend of the Easter school holidays. For more details click here.
Early bird training sessions are now up and running on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7.00am to 8.15am at the College Pool. This is open to all students from Year 3 to Year 6. The aim of these sessions to help increase confidence in the water and specialise in learning how to improve technique.
The Somerset College Junior Swimming Training Squad (The Somerset Snappers) is also busy training at the same time under the supervision of Junior APS Swimming Team Manager, Mrs Kate Grigg and Mr Forrest Butcher, Head Coach – Somerset Swimming. So far this term the numbers have been excellent and it would be great to see some new faces come along to these training sessions.
Please stay tuned for information about Summer Swimming Camps during the Christmas School Holidays.
Queensland Cricket will be hosting an In2 Cricket Make up session on Wednesday 31 October from 3.30pm to 4.30pm on Lower Sands Oval. This is for those who participated in this program in Term Three.
