All teaching and support staff gathered in the Great Hall on Monday 16 April, to undertake a day of training in Visible Wellbeing. Over the course of the morning, our facilitator, Darren Boyce from the Good Shepherd Lutheran College in Darwin, led over 200 staff through an introduction to the Visible Wellbeing approach.
The afternoon was dedicated to covering the first component of Professor Lea Waters SEARCH model - character strengths. It is clear, any work completed at the College to promote the wellbeing of the children in our care pays dividends in all other areas.
