As the evenings turn colder we are starting to realise how lucky we are. Whenever we feel chilly, we can reach for an extra layer of clothing or a blanket to keep warm.
Our thoughts have been turning to other people who are not as fortunate as we are.

We are requesting donations of new or pre-owned, clean blankets, beanies and scarves from the Somerset College community. These items can be dropped into the Junior School classrooms or the Senior School hub. The collection is taking place throughout the month of May.
Arrangements have been made for St. Vincent de Paul Society to pick up these items from Somerset College on Friday 1 June.
In addition to this appeal, the Seymour family is donating packs of Cup-a-Soup for each blanket donated.
We hope you can help us in our quest to spread a little warmth throughout our community.
