There was a distinct feeling of excitement and anticipation in the air on Tuesday 17 August when 45 Year 7 students presented their speeches at the annual Year 7 Somerset Public Speaking Competition. The audience listened intently to a diverse range of well- prepared speeches.
As always, the standard was exceptional and it was difficult to pick a winner in each group of approximately 9 students. At the end of the evening First Place students received a Book Voucher and everyone went home with a Participation Certificate.
